Cuff-down Vanilla Socks, Patons Kroy Sock Yarn

Blankets:

Snowflake Blanket, Red Heart Comfort Solids

Scarves:

Tentaculum, Marks and Kattens Fame Trend (will be frogged ... when it stops hiding)

Lanthir Lamath, Handspun from Ireland (re-started on a smaller needle ... here's hoping)

June Goals:

Almost finished the Old Flames Scarf (accidentally left it at work during my vacation) but I've just the bind-off row to do, so that'll be done.  Quaggan hat is finished and delivered (recipient loves it!) and I haven't given a thought to the Wispy Cardi.

June goals:  Finish the Old Flames Scarf and do something about that Wispy Cardi.  Also finish the Hooded Baby Skyrim Sweater.  I've just been laid off from work today, so I should have plenty of time to knit.

Two out of three ain't bad!  The scarf is done and I've frogged the sweater.  I also started another four projects (but one is already done!) and re-started the scarf that I ran out of yarn for.  Hoping that the smaller needle will save me some yarn.

July Goals:  Finish the hood section of the Lanthir Lamath scarf.  I've just started the hood section, so I think I can do this if I work on it and nothing else.

Dodged a Bullet That Time!

Whew, that was close!

I've successfully (after three weeks of searching) found a job.  It's really good; I start two Mondays from now.

So, one more week of 'vacation' and then back to a regular routine.  I really don't mind that it'll cut into my knitting time.  I spent most of my time on Ravelry anyway!

What Day Is It??

I'm having trouble keeping track of which day it is.  I think it's Friday today, but yesterday I was convinced that it was Wednesday.  Please, employment fairies, find me some work!

Gonna post pictures of all my WIPs.  If I can find them!

February Lady Sweater - Cropped

2aat Toe-up Socks

Toe-up Socks

Lanthir Lamath

Newborn Vertebrae

Hooded Baby Skyrim Sweater

Rosemary Cardigan

Quivira Coat

Wispy Cardi

Old Flames Scarf

Aeolian

Snowflake Blanket

Uh, yeah, that first one is new.  I need something to wear over a dress next weekend (I think it's next weekend) and nothing really looked like what I envisioned except the February Lady Sweater.  But it's too long, so I'm cropping mine and doing it in stockinette stitch.

Oh, there are two WIPs that aren't pictured (Orchid Thief Shawl and that other scarf I keep threatening to frog if I ever find it) because they're locked up in our storage unit.  Someone keeps locking the storage room door and I swear, if I ever catch them, I'm gonna ... probably just ask them nicely to stop locking it.  Lol!

Things That Suck About Being Unemployed

These are in no particular order.  They all suck evenly.

1.  You no longer have any excuses for the house being messy.
2.  Are we supposed to be job-hunting 7.5 hours a day?
3.  You have fewer reasons to say no to people who ask you to help them with stuff.
4.  You feel bad when you buy something that isn't completely necessary.
5.  You have more time for your hobbies, but feel like you're goofing off if you do them.
6.  Everyone seems to have a job suggestion for you, but it's never the right job or it pays minimum wage.

Day three and counting.  Maybe I should start my own business.  Oh, wait, that's another suggestion people make for me that won't work.
