November Update

Current WIPs (new ones are bolded):

Sweaters/Cardigans:

Wispy Cardi, Malabrigo Lace
Purple Sweater (of my own design), Patons Classic Wool Merino
Rosemary Cardigan, Cascade 220 Heathers (not technically new, as I started it in August)
Hooded Baby Skyrim Sweater, Patons Roving

Shawls:

Orchid Thief, Classic Elite Yarns Alpaca Sox (hibernating - ran out of yarn four rows from the end)

Hands and Feet:

Toe-up Socks, Zauberball (on a 9-inch circular)
2aat Toe-up Socks, Some yarn that my husband bought and that I'll look up later
Little Red Riding Slippers, Bernat Roving (frogged - didn't like them)

Blankets:

Snowflake Blanket, Red Heart Comfort Solids

Scarves:

Tentaculum, Marks and Kattens Fame Trend (will be frogged ... when it stops hiding)
Daily Highs Temperature Scarf, leftovers
Lanthir Lamath, Handspun from Ireland

Hats:

Forester Hat, Debbie Bliss Merino DK

Other:

A Dog Sweater, Unknown Yarn (this one I've been asked to do - the asker provided yarn and pattern)

Wow.  Um, yeah.  So I haven't finished anything since the last update.  That's not great, I guess.  On the other hand, I haven't bought yarn since mid-March, so there's a win, right?

Goals for November:  Frog what is listed to be frogged.  I think I know where that scarf is.  Finish the handspun scarf, and maybe the dog sweater.  Chances are that neither will get done, and I'll finish the slippers instead.

Right on two counts.  Finished nothing.

Goals for December:  Finish the hat.  Start gloves for my husband.  Finish the Daily Highs scarf (yeah, right.  That'll be a week into the new year!) and find that hidden project that needs to be frogged.

Well, Aeolian is done, as are the Wollmeise socks.  Those were finished early August.  Where did August go, anyway?  Can't believe it's half done already.

End of August goals:  new socks I intend to cast on this weekend for my husband.

Or not.  I only managed to finish the socks.  I have been working on the shawl, though.  Blame it on Guild Wars 2.

For July:  Aeolian.  I have to.  Even if that's all I work on!  The other socks are close as well.  We'll see.

Well, two out of three isn't bad, if you ignore the new project (which I finished!) and the fact that the shawl isn't even 50% done.

For June, definitely the Aeolian.  For sure.  Maybe even the toe-up socks, which I've just started the heels on (Fish Lips Kiss Heel).

Plans for May:

Finish Claudia (it's for a June birthday - early June), Purl Beret, and Aeolian.  Note that even though these are the most recently cast-on projects, they're also the most likely to be worked on.  If I'm really lucky, I'd like to have Lanthir Lamath 60% completed (that is, finished the hood part).

April was not a productive month.  I got distracted by Guild Wars 2 (still am, actually) and just generally lost any knitting mojo I may have had.  Also, Tentaculum?  Hiding.  Very well.

I've decided that it's time to cold-sheep.  I haven't bought (or obtained in any other way) yarn since December 29 (and even that yarn is for a gift.  In June).

Thus, every month I'm trying to finish up some WIPS and small one- or two-ball projects (because sometimes it's more encouraging to start and finish something quick, just to keep the motivation going).

My goal for March is to finish:  Praline Pullover, Abalone, and Triangle Shawl.
