End of month yarn stats:  49 entries, 89 skeins, 24221.90 metres, 9910 grams.

Well, I'm still in that knitting slump.  I suspect some of it is due to the season (winter, cold, dark, yuck).  I talked about an increase in the Vyvanse with my doctor, but since this is the first winter on the meds, it's hard to tell if the slump (not just in knitting, if we're gonna be honest) is due to the season or not.  If things start gearing back up in my brain by mid-March, then I guess that'll be enough data to use next December/January if it happens again.  I do love data.  Though I don't always know what to do with it!

It's February 7.  I'm a little late updating this blog.  I'm practising what I've learned in therapy and using radical acceptance a lot.  If I don't want to knit right now, then I don't have to.  If I don't want to read, I don't have to.  If I don't want to do laundry, okay, that's where maybe I have to do some, but not worry about getting it all done.

February goals:

1.  Don't actively go out to buy yarn, but if it really makes me happy and I can envision a project with it, then get it.
2.  No finishing projects.  Not one.  Not even that scarf that's really close to being finished.  If it looks like it's almost time to bind off, put it away until March.  (I'm joking.  Reverse psychology?)
3.  This is the shortest month.  Eat Mini-Wheats for breakfast six days a week.  (I do that anyway.)
4.  Wear a sweater at least once.  (Ha, like I'd go out without one in this temperature!  It's -20C without the windchill today.)

Oh, boy.  Sorry.  It's almost a week into March and I'm just getting to this now.  I hit all my goals!  And I did buy yarn, but it was so pretty.

February went by a lot faster than last year's February.  I'll take it.  Still playing everything carefully.

March goals:

1.  Knock a couple of projects out.
2.  Don't buy yarn (for real this time).
3.  Survive March.
